Trip log

What have we run in Taipei?

Taken from our own posts at the time. Student numbers are given where we recorded them.

  1. 24 April to 5 June 2025 Shidong Elementary School 士東國小, weekly across six weeks: a different mission each session, closing on 5 June with an FLL mock competition that our volunteers refereed.
  2. May 2025 Chung Hsiao Elementary School 忠孝國小, where The Little Engineers Program first began, on Saturday mornings.
  3. 8 November 2025 Cathwell Orphanage, a four-hour workshop run with the TAS Orphanage Club.
  4. 15 November 2025 Two sessions at once: an FLL training camp at Chengde Middle School 承德國中 for around 60 students, and a separate team teaching at Haishan Church 海山教會.
  5. 28 November 2025 Taipei Veterans General Hospital 臺北榮民總醫院, bringing robotics to children undergoing cancer treatment. That first visit, for 20 children in long-term care, became weekly FLL sessions on the ward, and we are expanding to three more hospitals.
  6. 13 December 2025 Train the Trainer at the TAS Tech Cube: 40+ high school students from Taipei First Girls High School 北一女, Chenggong High School 成功高中 and other schools.
